Current Research and Scholarly Interests

My research focuses on the development of machine learning methods for diagnosis and prognosis of various cancers, diseases, and disorders. Additionally, we leverage the power of artificial intelligence and machine learning for improving practices and expediting research in different aspects of medicine and biomedicine including biomarker discovery. We have lead the development of AI-based methods for:

1. Predicting postoperative complications and conditions in urological operations.
2. Grading, staging, and scoring of urological cancers by analyzing H&E-stained histopathological specimens as well as delineating histologic tissue components.
3. Non- / minimally-invasive diagnosis of urological diseases and disorders.
